DINE LIKE A LOCAL
CELEBRATING THE LOCAL BITES OF PHOENIX & SCOTTSDALE
Dine Like a Local is an annual recognition program and giveaway designed to celebrate and support local restaurants. In Volume 2, TSG followers nominated and voted on their favorite spots to Dine Like A Local in six categories within four areas of Phoenix & Scottsdale. Popular vote winners and TSG Culinary Contributor picks are featured in the Dine Like a Local spread in TSG Phoenix & Scottsdale print guide. We are thrilled that Marci Symington of TEXAZTASTE returned as our TSG Culinary Contributor and will continue to provide Dine Like a Local editorial coverage to be featured in our newsletters, social channels & city website.

MARCI SYMINGTON
Owner of TEXAZTASTE & TSG Culinary Contributor
Finding inspiration is a different journey for everyone. For me, food is where it all starts. From local eats to the history of cultural delights – there is so much food that can teach us about community, health, and happiness. Hailing from Texas, but having moved to the Valley since 1993, I hold a BA in Foreign Languages at SMU and a Culinary Arts Degree from Arizona Culinary Institute. In addition to writing about the local food scene for TSG and in my blog, TEXAZTASTE.com, I am a contributor to A Taste of AZ and The Tasting Panel magazines. You can also find me on Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest @texaztaste.
